Members, the FPCA is excited to announce that it has entered into partnership with Docview,LLC and iyeTek, LLC and is able to offer you as a member no cost solutions to fulfilling accident report requests on line. Docview's application is set up so that departments only need a fax machine for processing paper based crash reports. iyeTek offers Florida certified electronic crash reporting, allowing members to send their data to the state via a desktop or laptop computer and internet service.

Docview and iyeTek have agreed to set up an online or in person demo at your request. Also, as a FPCA member they will set up a pilot project at your agency for you to test the product/service before fully committing. We encourage you to check out these programs as a cost effective management tool.

In August, 2002, the Florida Police Chiefs Association, partnered with Stanard & Associates, Inc., to offer public safety agencies a legally defensible, nationally validated examination that was designed to identify candidates who possess the skills necessary to function successfully as an entry level police officer. The service has since expanded to include supervisor/promotional exams and dispatcher exams. This service offered by the Florida Police Chiefs Association is designed to help departments throughout Florida select the best officers, supervisors and dispatchers possible through inexpensive and highly effective applicant testing.

Including the State of Florida, police chief associations in 25 states have adopted the National Police Officer Selection test: Alabama, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Wisconsin. The states of Iowa, Montana, Utah and Wyoming are mandated by their State Training Boards to use Stanard exams. More than 1,500 agencies around the nation use Stanard & Associates nationally validated examinations.
