Traffic Incident Management

Supports the Florida Sheriff's Association Cyber Sexual Predator Safety Initiative whose mission is to protect children on-line through internet safety educational lessons and to protect those children who are solicited, seduced, lured or enticed by an adult to commit any illegal act described in chapter 794, chapter 800, or chapter 827, or to otherwise engage in any unlawful sexual conduct with a child through consistent proactive enforcement operations.

Supports statewide funding for mental health and substance abuse treatment services on behalf of Florida residents who receive mental health and substance abuse treatment services.

Supports the Silver Alert Support Committee's mission to advance and support the Florida Silver Alert program through effective and efficient practices and eliminate tragic outcomes associated with cognitively impaired drivers, and its efforts to assist both law enforcement and local communities with their efforts to implement these practices.

Supports the Red Cross and their efforts to provide aid and comfort to those in need

Supports the US National Guard and ESGR.

Supports the concept of the Star and Shield Insurance Exchange Program

Supports the State Child Abuse Death Review Committee's Findings and Recommendations on Using Doll Re-enactments as a tool in child death investigations.

Endorsing the Relgalf Scholarship with the College of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Florida State University.

Supports the NOPE Taskforce.

Supports the Fight Crime by Investing in Kids program.

Urging Florida citizens to consider the consequences of the proposed Constitutional Amendment concerning property taxes that will appear on the January 29, 2008 ballot; opposing said proposal for reasons stated herein; supporting a constitutional amendment prohibiting unfunded state mandates in order to reduce property taxes; and urging the Florida Taxation and Budget Reform Commission to develop measures consistent with this resolution.

Supports the Removal of the 8-Hour, Statutory Requirement that Officers Attend Human Diversity Training Every 4 Years

Supports Direct Homeland Security Funding for Florida Cities.

Strongly supports the reauthorization of the Assault Weapons Ban.

Supports the Law Enforcement Data Sharing Network.

Strongly suggests that Florida law enforcement agencies establish a requirement that individuals seeking promotion to a supervisory or administrative position possess a degree from an institute of higher learning.

Urging Governor Bush and the 2003 Legislature to adequately fund Law Enforcement Programs offered by Community Colleges.

Expressing our strong support for the members of the Armed Forces of the United States and those of our allies, who have been called upon to engage in military action in Iraq.
