The Florida Police Chiefs Association's "Jobs Central" is a comprehensive source of law enforcement vacancies within the State of Florida. "Jobs Central" provides an opportunity for agencies within the state to recruit qualified candidates from across the country.
Advertising your job opening on this site will enable you to extend your recruitment efforts beyond your community and the state to find the most qualified individuals for your agency. The FPCA website provides maximum exposure for your agency to potential applicants.
Position ads will be placed on Jobs Central within 48 - 72 hours of receipt. Ads may include a direct link to your webpage (for an online application or additional information about your agency and/or benefits) and the e-mail address of your agency contact or recruiter.

Florida Police Chiefs Association Testing Services
In August, 2002, the Florida Police Chiefs Association, partnered with Stanard & Associates, Inc., to offer public safety agencies a legally defensible, nationally validated examination that was designed to identify candidates who possess the skills necessary to function successfully as an entry level police officer. The service has since expanded to include supervisor/promotional exams and dispatcher exams. This service offered by the Florida Police Chiefs Association is designed to help departments throughout Florida select the best officers, supervisors and dispatchers possible through inexpensive and highly effective applicant testing.
