The Model Policy Center has been created through the efforts of the Florida Police Chiefs Association, the Florida Police Chiefs Education and Research Foundation and Florida State University. In fact, the Model Policy Center was the intial project of the Intership Program funded by the Foundation. The Center was established to provide police administrators with access to the latest police policies and procedures in use by Florida Law Enforcement Agencies. Initially, policies covering high liability areas
and afford executives with the greatest potential for vicarious liability and/or likely to lead to discipline,
were identified and collected. more... Florida agencies were selected based upon the fact that they have achieved and maintained state and national
