The Florida Police Chiefs Association is holding its Mid-Winter Conference and Exposition from January 9-12, 2000, at the World Golf Village Resort Hotel, in St. Augustine, Florida and you are cordially invited to attend. Once again, Chief Rick Overman and the members of the Training Committee have put together an outstanding program. Our conference topic will be School Violence. Jefferson County Colorado Sheriff John P. Stone and Steve Davis PIO will share their insights into the tragedy and the lessons learned from the violence that took place in Littleton Colorado at Columbine High School. Conference forums will also focus on legislative initiatives slated for 2000 and we will take a look at the latest in police training and equipment improvements to help us fight crime.
As our veteran vendors know, we broke attendance records at our last mid-winter conference and the exhibition space was sold out. We anticipate excellent attendance from police executives. We would like you to exhibit your latest, innovative products and services to these decision makers. Once again this year, we will send special invitations to local Sheriff's Offices, command staff, and purchasing personnel of surrounding police departments, as well as corporate security directors, to view the exhibits free of charge. The FPCA will host this training conference and exposition. They will allow food and drink in the vendor area to enhance viewing hours. Vendor space will sell out so don't delay ... to hold your place, mail, fax, or e-mail your registration form as soon as possible!
Monday, January 10, 2000 - Tuesday, January 11th, 2000. Exhibition times are set around training and food breaks for maximum exposure. FPCA's unique vendor directory check-off concept will be used again during our Mid-Winter Conference as it continues to receive a positive response from both the Chiefs and vendors.
