500 - South Legacy Trail, St Augustine, Florida 32092 Call for Reservations at (904) 940-8000 - FAX (904) 940-8008 Member/Guest Information...Once again, we are pleased to announce that the Florida Police Chiefs Association is holding its 2004 Mid-Winter Training Conference and Exposition from January 11th - 14th, 2004, at the World Golf Village Resort Hotel, in St. Augustine, Florida and you are cordially invited to attend. Chief David Thompson and the members of the Training Committee would be happy to hear from you as they plan the program and identify speakers. Please click here to provide suggestions for a topic and/or speaker. As in our past Mid-Winter programs, we will discuss contemporary problems and issues during an "Open Forum", facilitated by Chief David Thompson. In addition, we will focus on legislative initiatives slated for 2004, and take a look at the latest in police training, equipment, products and services at our Exposition which will include approximately 130 Vendors. Registration/Cost...The cost for the Chief Executive or Initial Registrant (FPCA Member) to attend the conference is only $225 if paid by December 12, 2003 and $250 thereafter. Chief Executive or Initial Registrant (Non FPCA Member) may attend for $275 if registered by December 12, 2003 and $300 thereafter. FPCA Cancellation Policy: 30 days or more notice, will result in a refund less a $35 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued if a cancellation is made with less than 30 days notice. Members of your Command Staff (FPCA member) may also attend at a cost of only $175 if registration is made by December 12, 2003 and $225 thereafter. Non FPCA Members of your Command Staff may attend for $225 if registered by December 12, 2003 and $250 thereafter. Special New Member Incentive...The Board of Directors has created a special incentive for new members. Agency heads or command staff who join the Association as of October 1, 2003 (provided that you have not previously been a member of the FPCA) will have the registration fee for their next conference waived. We only ask that you submit a registration form within 30 days of the conference so that we can accurately plan food and other functions. Exhibits...Monday, January 12, 2004 - Tuesday, January 13th, 2004. Exhibition times are set around training and food breaks for maximum exposure. Setup will be on Monday, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. The exhibition area will open at 12:00 p.m. and will be the site of a reception from 5:00 p.m until 7:00 p.m. The exhibit hours for Tuesday are from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Our booth space has been sold out for the past four Mid-Winter Expositions. We anticipate that more than 126 vendors will attend...making this the largest Mid-Winter Conference ever! Our vendors have promised some great door prizes. Hotel Reservations...Hotel accommodations will be handled directly by World Golf Village Renaissance Resort which is located directly off Interstate 95 at 500 South Legacy Trail, St. Augustine, Florida 32092.
