Florida Police Chiefs Education and Research Foundation Inc. (FPCERF) is a public supported 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. FPCERF provides college scholarships to police explorers and recognizes the legislative efforts of members of the Florida Legislature who are instrumental in the passage of laws to improve the public's safety. The Foundation enhances the quality of training for Florida's Police Executives through annual training grants. In an effort to keep the public informed of public safety issues, the Foundation also provides funding for the Florida Police Chiefs Association web site. The site provides a virtual office for members and allows them to affect public safety in a variety of ways such as providing information on Crime Prevention, Traffic Safety, emergency preparedness and by assisting agencies with their recruitment of quality employees through Job Central.
