Through the President's Award, the President of Florida Police Chiefs Association
recognizes an individual for exceptional performance, support or service to the President,
Association and/or the advancement of the law enforcement profession.
CRITERIA:
- Exceptional Performance as a member of the Florida Police Chiefs Association, and/or;
- Support of the Association's President it's mission, goals and objectives and/or;
- Involvement in the Association to further and promote
the law enforcement profession.
AWARD PROCESS
While the recipient is determined solely
by the President, nominations for the award may be made by any member in good standing.
The following process has been established to coordinate and facilitate the President's
Award:
- Association members should submit their nominations to Association Headquarters
no later than April 15.
- Headquarters will distribute all of the nominations received to the President.
- The President will review the materials and select an individual to receive the award
from the nominations.
AWARD
PRESENTATION: The plaque for the President's Award will be presented by
the President during the Summer Conference Installation and Awards Banquet.
