Exhibitors, you are Invited ...
The Florida Police Chiefs Association is holding it's 49th Annual Summer Conference & Exposition from June 10-14, 2001, and you are cordially invited to attend. Our Training Committee is still in the process of finalizing the educational program. Conference forums will also probe legislative initiatives for the year 2002 and take a look at the latest in police training, equipment and services to aid us in our efforts to fight crime.

Attendance and Location ...
As our veteran vendors know, we continue to break attendance records and the exhibition space has sold out early. We anticipate excellent attendance from police executives, with close to 200 agency heads. We would like you to exhibit your latest, innovative products and services to these decision makers. Once again this year, we will send special invitations to local command staff and purchasing personnel of surrounding police and sheriff's departments, as well as corporate security directors, to view the exhibits free of charge. The Tampa Marriott Waterside, in beautiful downtown Tampa, will host this training conference and exposition. They will allow food and drink in the vendor area to enhance viewing hours. Space has already have been reserved by past conference vendors, so don't delay ... to hold your place, mail your registration form as soon as possible!

Exhibit Dates ...
Sunday, June 10th - Tuesday, June 12th, 2001. Exhibition times are set around training and food breaks for maximum exposure. Setup will be on Sunday, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. The exhibition area will be open at 5:00 p.m. and will be the site of a reception with lavish hors d'oeuvres until 7:00 p.m. The exhibit hours for Monday are tentatively set for 12:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. and Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Cost ...
The registration fee is $675 for a 8' x 10' booth. All booths include a table, a sign, pipe and draping, two chairs, facility rental, and a 1-3 amp. electrical outlet (if you require additional electric service there is an additional charge of $20 for 4-6 amps. and $35 for 7-10 amps.) There will be access for motor vehicles within the exposition area via a freight elevator. The demensions of the freight elevator are:Interior: 8' h x 12' w x 24'8" long and the exterior is: 8'h x 12' w. (If you have any questions regarding the facility please call Convention Services at (813) 204-6331). The FPCA will provide 24-hour security. All of our vendors are invited to participate in the cocktail reception,lunches and coffee breaks... ALL HELD IN THE VENDOR AREA. In addition, as one of our vendors, you will receive two tickets to Host Chief's Nite on Monday, the Banquet scheduled for Wednesday night, and the Farewell Breakfast on Thursday morning. To guarantee space,you must return your completed registration form and a deposit of $100. The balance is due no later than May 10, 2001. Space is limited, therefore all reservations and special requests will be based on the order of receipt of checks.

Marketing your company ...
FPCA's unique vendor directory check-off concept will be used again during our Summer Conference as it continues to receive a positive response from both the Chiefs and vendors. In order for our members to participate in the prize drawings, they must get each vendor to initial their vendor card. We will be giving away several valuable prizes. Once again, Glock has donated a 9 mm handgun. Perhaps your company would like to contribute an item or sponsor an event? If so, then please give us a call or include the information on your registration form and we will follow-up with the designated contact person.

Hotel Reservations ...
Hotel accommodations will be handled directly by the Tampa Marriott Waterside, call them at 1-888-268-1616. Please remember to advise the reservations personnel that you are an exhibitor at the Florida Police Chiefs Association Conference and call by May 16, 2001 to guarantee your special room rate of $89 per night (Single & Double). You might consider bringing your family and turning this business trip into a vacation as the Marriott has graciously extended the room rate for three days prior and three days after the conference.
