The Florida Police Chiefs Association is holding it's 57th Annual Summer Conference & Exposition from June 13 - 17, 2009, and you are cordially invited to attend. Our Training Committee is currently developing the educational program and we will take a look at the latest in police training, equipment and services to aid us in our efforts to fight crime in Florida.

Attendance and Location ...
As our veteran vendors know, we continue to break attendance records and the exhibition space has sold out early. We anticipate excellent attendance from police executives, with close to 250 agency heads. We would like you to exhibit your latest, innovative products and services to these decision makers. Once again this year, we will send special invitations to local command staff and purchasing personnel of surrounding police and sheriff's departments, as well as corporate security directors, to view the exhibits free of charge. The Saddlebrook Resort, located in Wesley Chapel, Florida, will host this training conference and exposition. They will allow food and drink in the vendor area to enhance viewing hours. Space has already have been reserved by past conference vendors, so don't delay ... to hold your place, fax or mail your registration form today!

Exhibit Dates ...
Sunday, June 14th - Tuesday, June 16th, 2009. Exposition times are set around training and food breaks for maximum exposure. Setup will be on Sunday, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. The exposition area will be open at 5:00 p.m. and will be the site of a reception with lavish hors d'oeuvres until 7:00 p.m. The expo hours for Monday are set for 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and includes a four hour training session for the chiefs with the vendors in the Exposition Hall. This session will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until 2:00 p.m. A mid-morning coffee break and luncheon will be provided for everyone in the Exposition Hall. Tuesday the Exposition will reopen at 8:00 a.m. with a two hour dedicated session for the chiefs from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Breakfast will be provided for everyone. The Expo will close at 10:00 a.m. and concludes with our Vendor Door Prize drawing.

Cost ...
The registration fee is $675 for most of the 8' x 10' booths (premium booths cost an additional $250 or $575). All booths include a table, a sign, pipe and draping, two chairs and facility rental. If you require electric service there is an additional charge of $20 for 1-3 amps, $35 for 4-6 amps and $50 for 7-10 amps. If you have any questions regarding the facility please call the FPCA at (850) 219-3631. The FPCA will provide 24-hour security. All of our vendors are invited to participate in the reception, lunches and coffee breaks... ALL HELD IN THE VENDOR AREA. In addition, as one of our vendors, you will receive two tickets to Host Chief's Night on Monday and all food and beverage events. To guarantee space, you must return your completed registration form and a deposit of $100. The balance is due no later than May 12, 2009. Space is limited, therefore all reservations and special requests will be based on the order of receipt of checks.

Marketing your company ...
FPCA's unique vendor directory check-off concept will be used again during our Summer Conference as it continues to receive a positive response from both the Chiefs and vendors. In order for our members to participate in the prize drawings, they must get each vendor to initial their vendor card. At the end of the Expo, we will also ask each vendor to submit the names of three Chiefs they feel best participated in the Exhibition and three Chiefs receiving the most votes will win valuable door prizes. Once again, this process is anonymous with votes tallied by FPCA staff. Perhaps your company would like to contribute an item or sponsor an event? If so, then please give us a call or include the information on your registration form and we will follow-up with the designated contact person.

Hotel Reservations ...
Hotel accommodations will be handled directly by the Saddlebrook Resort (phone number above). Please mention that you are with the Florida Police Chief's Association and be sure to call no later than May 12, 2009, to guarantee your room rate of $135 per night. With the holiday, you might consider bringing your family and turning this business trip into a vacation as the Saddlebrook Resort has graciously extended the room rate for three days prior and three days after the conference.
