Training Program ...
Director Phillip Ludos and the
Training Committee, with a grant from our Education and Research Foundation, is developing an
excellent training program, including "Evolve or Die" and "Rock Solid Leadership" presented by outstanding motivational speaker Robin Crow on
Monday, June 28th, 2010. Complete details will be posted on the conference agenda when the program is finalized.

Cost ...
Pre-registration cost for agency heads
(FPCA members) is $300 and $350 for those registering after May 25, 2010 or on-site.
If you (as the chief executive) register for the conference, additional command staff
(FPCA members) can attend for a fee of only $250 pre-registration or $300 after May 25,
2010 or on-site. Fee for Non-Members is $350 in advance, and $400 on-site. FPCA Cancellation Policy: 30 days or more notice will result in a refund
less a $100 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued if a

 Offshore Fishing Excursion ...
The Host Chiefs, thanks to a generous sponsorship from
3SI Security Systems, have planned an Offshore Fishing Trip on Tuesday, June 29, 2010!
There is no additional charge for this event, however space is limited to 80. We are accepting reservations from FPCA members on a
"First Come - First Serve" basis. The trip is open to family members (must be registered conference attendees). Buses will depart the Fontainebleau at 5:45pm.

Wednesday evening, 6:30 p.m. - Semi Formal Attire.
Please join us for this gala event! Chief Peter Paulding, Gulf Breeze P.D. will be sworn in as President of
the Florida Police Chiefs Association. We will also recognize the winners of our "Lee McGehee" Police Officer of the Year, Rocky Pomerance "Excellence in Policing" and Wall of Honor awards.
Attendance ...
Please remember, our room blocks for
the last several summer conferences have sold out early. We anticipate that more than 250
police executives from throughout the state will attend the conference.
Hotel Reservations ...
Hotel accommodations will be handled
directly by the Fontainebleau Resort at (800) 548-8886. Please mention that you are with the Florida Police Chief's Association and be sure to call no
later than May 25, 2010, to guarantee your room rate of $149 per night. NOTE: FPCA attendees will also receive a
reduced rate of $22/night for parking. SPECIAL NOTICE: There is no resort fee for our group, however, hotel staff may suggest that additional
services are available for which there is a charge.
Exhibit Area ...
The latest Law Enforcement related
products and services will be displayed by approximately 117 vendors. The exposition opens on Sunday with a Reception in the Exposition Area, 7:30 p.m. -
9:30 p.m. The exposition reopens on Monday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Tuesday 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. To allow you more time to meet with our
vendors, we have planned a reception and all of the coffee and food breaks to take place
within the exhibit area. Again this year, we invite you to send your personnel
involved in the purchasing process to view the exhibits free of charge on Monday, June 28th from
1:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. & Tuesday, June 29th from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
2011 Mid-Winter Conference ...
If your schedule prevents you from
attending the Summer Conference at the Fontainebleau Resort, please plan to participate in our next
Mid-Winter Conference in St. Augustine, Florida, at the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village, January 9 - 11, 2011.
